How do I get started with Chat Utilities?
After downloading the app, you can either sign up for an account to use our managed credits, or enter your own OpenRouter API key. Once set up, simply select a model and start chatting!
What AI models are available?
Chat Utilities provides access to 300+ AI models including GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral, and many more. You can browse all available models in the Models section of the app.
How does pricing work?
You can either use your own OpenRouter API key (pay directly to OpenRouter) or purchase credits through our app. Token costs vary by model—the app shows you the estimated cost before you send each message.
Can I use images in my conversations?
Yes! For models that support vision (like GPT-4 Vision or Claude), you can attach up to 10 images per message. You can capture photos directly or choose from your photo library.
Is my chat history stored on your servers?
No. Your chat history is stored only on your device. We never upload or store your conversations on our servers. This means your chats are completely private, but also that they won't sync between devices.
How do I export my conversations?
You can export individual chats or all chats from the History drawer or Settings > Manage Chats. Exported files can be imported back into Chat Utilities on any device.
What devices are supported?
Chat Utilities is available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro. The app is optimized for all screen sizes with a responsive design.
How do I change the appearance?
Go to Settings > Appearance to customize your experience. You can choose from 8 accent colors, switch between light and dark mode, adjust font size, and change message density.
What are message variants?
Message variants allow you to regenerate a response multiple times and compare different outputs. You can navigate between variants using the arrows on each message.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the.valdex@gmail.com. Include the email address associated with your account and we'll process your request within 30 days.
